As per Vedic astrology books, there are many ways to form Kahala Yoga and most of them are logical right. That’s why I collected all of them regarding Kahala Yoga. Below are the possible astrological combinations for Kahala yoga

1. Whenever Jupiter & 4^th house lord are in Kendra to each other and lagna lord is strong then Kahala yoga is formed.
2. If 4^th house lord is exalted or placed in his own sign and expected by or conjunct with 10^th house lord then Kahala Yoga is formed.
3. 4^th house lord & 9^th house lord are placed Kendra to each other and Lagna lord is strong then Kahala Yoga is formed.
4. If depositor of lagna lord is placed in Kendra with its own sign or exalted sign and Lagna lord is strong then Kahala yoga is formed.

Here you notice that in most possible combination, Lagna lord must be strong and 4^th house lord is well placed. Plus, Kahala yoga is only formed with lagan chart & not with another chart.
