Shrinath Yoga – Yoga for Prosperity

Introduction of Shrinath Yoga as per Vedic Astrology

The word Shrinath is made from two words Shri and Nath. Sri means prosperity (goddess Laxmi) and Nath means Lord. Srinath means one who has awesome prosperity. Lord Vishnu is known as Srinath because Vishnu is the husband of Mata Laxmi. That’s why Shrinath Yoga in horoscope can give awesome prosperity.

Formation of Shrinath Yoga

As per the classical book of astrology Shrinath Yoga is formed if the below condition fulfilled

1. If 7^th house lord is placed in 10^th house
2. 9^th house lord & 10^th house lord is conjunct
3. Either 7^th house lord is exalted

All of the above 3 points must be fulfilled in any chart then only Srinath Yoga is formed. In Practice Above definition is only applicable in Dhanu or Sagittarius Ascendant.

Phal Dipika has another Yoga in the name of Shrinath Yoga. As per phaldipika, 9^th house lord, Venus & Mercury are placed in Kendra or Trine house in their own sign, mooltrikona sign, exalted sign or friend sign then Shrinath Yoga is formed.  

Results of Shrinath Yoga

When 7^th house lord is placed in 10^th house then 10^th house gets natural strength due to bhavat bhavam. Means 10^th house is getting natural strength.

9^th house lord & 10^th house lord conjunct then it will be considered as Dharma Karma Adipati Yoga. This means native has awesome prosperity or happiness.

Again when 7^th house lord is exalted in 10^th house which is Kendra then definitely a Panch Mahapurush Yoga is formed. Panch Mahapurush is one of the popular yoga in Vedic astrology.
