Introduction of Chakra Yoga as per Vedic Astrology

Chakra yoga is one of the Aakriti yoga under the group of Nabhas Yoga. Chakra Yoga is formed when all visible planets are placed in all 6 odd numbers houses from Lagna in the horoscope. Chakra Yoga is considered beneficial for native.

Nabhasa yoga is formed in the sky (Nabha) based on the shape created in the sky by planets. So, it is very clear that Nabhasa yoga is formed with visible planets only (not by Rahu & Ketu).

As per classical books of Astrology, there are 32 types of Nabhas yoga in Vedic Astrology which are listed below

• 20 Aakriti Yoga (based on the shape formed by planets in the sky)
• 7 Sankhya Yoga (based on the number of signs in which all planets are placed)
• 3 Aashraya Yoga (based on planets occupied in movable, dual or fixed signs).
• 2 Dala Yoga (formed based on a beneficial or malefic planet in the Kendra)

Chakra Yoga is part of Aakriti yoga. The word chakra means something like cycle or wheels. Chakra is also referred to as round weapons who come back after attacking. But the main common thing about chakra is continuity. In some books, it is referred as Chandra yoga.

Formation of Chakra Yoga

When all visible planets from Sun to Saturn are placed in odd houses from Lagna means in 1^st, 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th, 9^th, & 11^th house in the horoscope then Chakra Yoga is formed. But none of the above houses will be vacant.

Here we don’t consider Rahu & Ketu. So, Rahu & Ketu may be placed in any house, it doesn’t matter.

Here you have to notice that when all planets are placed in 6 signs then Damini Yoga is also formed. But we only consider the impact of Chakra yoga in this case.

Results of Chakra Yoga

• As all planets are placed in odd number bhava. So, native may be brave by nature. He may be hard-hearted or not very emotional.
• Native may be rich & wealthy. He may be very proud by nature. This seems egoïstic like nature. He likes that others may precise him.
• Native may have such type of ability that many authorities or powerful persons respect him and follow his orders.
• He may be dear to all. His popularity may be very high.
• We can simply say such native may have the ability to become a power centre.
• He may stand with rightness or dharma. He may be peaceful in mind.
• Such people may be dear to women.

Some other important factors about Aakriti Yoga

• Among all Nabhas yoga, Aakriti yoga is always giving priority regarding results. So, when Aakriti yoga is available in the chart, we don’t consider other Nabhas yoga.
• In Aakriti yoga, there is no role of Rahu & Ketu, so don’t consider Rahu & Ketu regarding the formation of Aakriti Yoga.
• Nabhas yoga doesn’t depend on transit or dasha. So, any nabhas yoga will give permanent type of results and always be effective.
• Aakriti yoga results can be obtained through native’s own effort or luck. Aakriti yoga doesn’t need the support of others to give results. But others nabhas yoga need the support of others to give results.
• So, Aakriti Yoga gets support from native’s own luck, karma or efforts.
