Introduction of Rajju Yoga as per Classical Vedic Astrology
Rajju yoga is one of the Aashraya yoga among Nabhasa Yoga. Nabha means Sky. Aashraya means asylum or house of living.
Nabhasa yoga is formed in the sky based on the shape created in the sky by planets. So, it is very clear that Nabhasa yoga is formed with visible planets only (not by Rahu & Ketu).
Aashraya Yoga is formed with the help of a group of signs based on movable, fixed and dual nature. So, it is very clear that we have 3 types of Aashraya yoga.
Rajju yoga is one of the Aashraya yoga. The word Rajju means Rope or rassi. So, in Rajju yoga planets make shapes like rope in the sky.
Formation of Rajju yoga in Vedic Astrology
When all planets from Sun to Saturn ( all 7 planets) are placed in movable signs ( Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn) then Rajju yoga is formed.
Here we have to point out that planets may be any of one Movable sign or all 4 movable signs, it doesn’t matter. But no planet will go to fixed or dual sign.
Results of Rajju Yoga
The person who has Rajju yoga has huge impact of movable signs on their nature. He has a restless nature. Such people may have a jealous nature and crocked attitude. They don’t have a steady attitude on any matters and change their stand frequently.
They may be travelling lovers and wandering nature. Such people may have good growth away from their home town or foreign places.
Important point about Rajju Yoga
- Rajju yoga is Nabhasa yoga so it will give results of permanent nature & throughout life.
- This means the effect of Nabhasa yoga is not based on any sort of dasha or transit or strength of planets.
- If Rajju yoga is formed in Kendra’s house from Lagna then considered very powerful. This means Rajju yoga formed in Movable lagan (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) is considered powerful among other possible Rajju Yoga.
- We have various sorts of Nabhasa yoga. Among all other Nabhasa yoga Aasharya yoga (Rajju yoga) has less priority yoga. We give Akriti yoga more priority than Aashraya yoga. This means we only considered Aasharya yoga when no Akriti yoga in the horoscope.
- But Sankya yoga and Aasharya yoga can give their individual results.
Formation frequency
Rajju yoga is not formed frequently. There may be a minimum gap of 3-4 years to form this yoga. Because of this yoga has the involvement of Saturn & Jupiter and Jupiter’s transit time is 13 months in a sign & Saturn takes 30 months.
So, Rajju yoga may be coming under the rarest astrology yoga regarding their formation. But when formed in a particular year then this will be formed frequently in that year.
