Phaldipika Chapter 19 Part 1

Phaldipika Chapter 19 Part 1

1)The great sage Parashra had done a lot of devotion to Navgrah and due to this he had got the divine knowledge of astrological prediction. Later he had created a great horashastra and tell us about great Vishonttary  Mahadasha. In this chapter i has given information about this Vishonttary dasha.

2) We will make 3 set of 9 nakshtra starting from kritika and end at bharni( kritika to purbaphalguni, uttarphalguni to purbashada, uttarashada to bharni). Vishonttray lord of this 9 nakshtra starting from kritika is Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu and Venus. And dasha will be 6, 10,7,18,16,19,17, 7 and 20 year respectively. If we add all dasha year then it will be 120 year.

3) Let’s know the method of calculation of Mahadasha.

a) First know the nakshtra of moon and the native is born at that nakshtra lord mahadasha.

b) Let’s see how much distance moon passed in that particular nakshtra and how much remaning.

C) Now we have to deduct this in 13*20′( one nakshtra length)

d) Moon nakshtra vishontry lord dasha is divided by 13*20

e) Then remaning length of moon in that nakshtra is multiply by results obtained by point number ”d)”. This will give information of remaining dasha time in that Mahadasha.

f) After finishing this next dasha will be another planet according to sequence told in previous point.

4) The lenght of solar year is equal to time taken by sun to comes again by same natal sun( exactly equal to that degree minutes and second of sun in same sign). In same ways we calculate for solar month ( when sun reach same degree-minute- second in next sign) and days ( when sun reach just 1 degree away from own natal degree). This is used in calculate dasha year, month and day in vishonttary dasha.
